Ghosts of Davidson presents the debut of the “Spooky South Main” tour. We will meet at Table and Board located inside the former Davidson Ice House, well known in the area for its paranormal activity. Other highlights on the tour include: - Are there spirits still lurking inside the former Cathey-Hoyle funeral home? - Who are the full body apparitions seen inside the Alexander house - former location of the Davidson Medical College? - Who was the mysterious “witch” of South Main? - What was the real cause of the most notorious murder in town? - Is there a curse for doctors in town in the month of February? - What was the creepy discovery made inside the walls of the Brattain house? Find the answers to these questions and more on a 90 minute tour of a town full of local legends, history and hauntings. Details: - The tour starts outside Table & Board (located inside the old Davidson Ice House) at 416 S. Main St. Davidson, NC 28036. - The walk is on fairly level ground and is wheelchair accessible. - There are multiple spots to sit down and listen to stories. - The tour is creepy and meant to be a little scary, but the content is suitable for older children and teens. - There are no public restrooms along the tour route. Weather Policy: Tours happen rain or shine. If there is a threat of dangerous weather, booked guests will be able to reschedule for an alternate tour.
